Man something must be clogging thier brains, I was thinking pot, but I have met potheads with more common sense then the liberals of today. I sure do wish they wouldn't be so hard on fetuses and soft on terrorists. What a bunch of D-bags.

P.S. I was in the military, and it was the best decision I ever could have made.

It's not what they're smoking -- Libs just NEED to feel good about themselves. I use to be a Democrat and somewhat liberal. It made me feel good to be on the side of the party of the "common man." It made me feel good to trash the "rich" Republicans. It made me feel good to be for peace. It made me feel good to be for equality. It made me feel good to support social welfare programs. Then I started reading and listening and thinking and I concluded that today's Democrats are not the Democrats that my parents and grandparents supported (and therefore I supported). They are more like Socialist who want the CENTRALIZED CONTROL OF AMERICA and a political-economic policy that boarders on communism. The Socialist programs of the New Deal and The Great Society have failed for the most part and are destroying our country. Now I am much more conservative, and a great deal worried.

The war in Iraq is about terrorism and if you think it is about anything else you too must be on something. What people like you must not realize is that the President doesn't say lets go beat up on someone today and it just happens. It takes more than just the president and his party to accomplish a war like this. Both parties voted on the actions that are being taken and military leaders had their input and helped make the choices. I can tell you from my military past that most of the military guys do not have oil interest in mind. I do not like the war and I do not agree with the timing of the attack but I do believe that the actions were needed. I would have liked to see the rest of the world get more involved but it seems that the US always has the burden of taking out people like Saddam,& Hitler and liberating oppressed countries. I am exmilitary who served in the first gulf war. I am a true blue and will remain that way. If all of you liberals want to go and negotiate with terrorist then I think you should and I will help with your plane tickets.

I don't know, I don't consider them to be douchbags, but simply misguided. They actually believe that they're right and just, and they honestly want whats best for the country, but they don't have the whole picture. They get one piece of the puzzle and then act on it. It doesn't help that the majority of the dems leadership these days cannot do anything besides critisize. I'm looking foward to the day when liberals come up with a PLAN to make the country better, rather then continually point out what they think is wrong.

You're absolutely right. Liberals act as if, in Iraq and Afghanistan, we can literally transform entire nations from the ground up. We can fix up their deteriorating infrastructure, recreate their numerous governmental organizations and police forces, all while keeping order and keeping progress moving forward.

But the liberals want us to fight this war like it's just a police matter. They want our soldiers to act like English Bobbies, strolling through London armed only with their nightstick and the goodwill of the populace.

They don't want us to impose martial law in the lawless areas, or get tough with the terrorists. They want the terrorists to have lawyers, and the right to grandstand at public trials, inciting others to rebel against their democratically elected governments.

Since we liberals read and think. Try it some time. All we have to do is watch the news each day to see why Conservative have gotten themselves into trouble by taking bribes, revealing names of undercover agents, allow their cronies to inflate the price of oil. convientantly forgetting how to live within a budget, and blaming everybody else for the mess this country is in. Oh yes, Did i forget to mention that the Pres. reduced the budget and did not backfill vacancies for the Agency that is supposed to protect our borders.
