i guess cricket i like it ..it scores over football in following for me,,
(1) its a long game..and i enjoy it more..
(2) football is just reversible..i mean after a goal you start again same..its very repeating..cricket is not so..overs go and game reaches its climax once the match end is approached..
(3) alot of strategy are possible in tests which is the longest duration for any game i think..
(4) here you have people with diff..skills..so i like cricket..
there are many more reasons..

Cricket has a slow pace but strategic gameplay.
Football is fastpaced and a one-minded game, to score a goal and win.

When I lived in the country I couldn't stand those noisy crickets! So, football is my choice. 4 qtrs and the game is over!

if you are asking in the cricket section, you will receive obvious replies. but i feel football caters to many more fans than cricket, although being a cricket freak i have got to admit it.

Football would be more interestin if they brought in bulldozer type guys who tackle people and injure them every time..
It would give you someone to watch for on the screen
