if you put it with some other bath or beach items, like a gift basket- that would be nice.

Depends on the person receiving the present, and the quality of towel. For example, I think a nice cartoon character beach towel would be a fun gift for a child.

I'd say it's a good present if the person is obsessed with towels. If the gift is for a woman, you might want to add something with the towel (such as scented body lotion, scented candles, scented soap, bath salts, or bubble bath stuff). Make her feel like she's gets her own private spa. Most women like that.

By "we" I assume that there is more than one person giving one "towel" as "presents".... might appear you're kinda CHEAP giving one towel to more than one person. How are you planning to divide up this towel evenly? Or will they just share it. Maybe a scheduler to go along with the towel would be helpful to the towel recipients.

Sure you can give towels as birthday presents, if they're what the giftee needs or expressed an interest in having. Just make them GOOD ones.

You would be better to give a gift certificate... unless the birthday person really wants towels.

Sure why not - maybe add some bath 'stuff' - use the towel as the wrapping paper, create a bow out of a washrag.

So longs if they are clean, and new, you may give them a towel for a present.

Depends on the occasion and how well you know the other person I guess. Nothing inherently wrong in that, some might find it wierd though.

if you're asking if a birthday person would mind such a practical gift...
my opinion is i dun mind
as long as the colour doesn't bleed
if it's really really ugly...it can be recycled as a rag...jus dun wan it to stain the marble :P

it's okay if the towels are good quality/name brand AND if you know what colors/design would match in the persons bathroom.
