I love pinks, purples and reds.
I usually wear a shade of purple because I find it looks best with my skin tone.
Find a place near you that sells OPI nail polish. They have the most gorgeous colours, and its of a great quality. Most of the nail salons I've been to uses it.

White, beige, light pink.
Colours that go well with your skin tone.
The best I have found is the french manicure.. it goes with EVERYTHING. casual or dressy, ,it still matches.
