I think that the US fiscal deficits are funded more by the Japanese and, increasingly, the Chinese. I take your point though, the US is in one hell of a mess.

But, as the old adage goes, if I owe you a dollar, I have a problem.
If I owe you a million dollars, you have a problem, or, at the very least, we both have a problem.

If they do withdraw their investment the whole house of cards could come crashing down. The financial system as a whole would be de-stabilised.

Although, they can't go on funding deficits forever, something has to give. I think that we are very near to that point.

The dollar would depreciate versus other currencies, which would spur exports.

Moreover, the value of Saudi assets would depreciate significantly and their credit would be ruined since the only real assets would the oil, a commodity with highly variable pricing.

Trade wars hurt everyone involved. An entrepreneur isn't in it for the social good they are in t for the profit.

Assuming that they could back out then it would likely hurt them more than America as there is little chance of doing it without substantial loss.

It would hurt the US economy. We would have a recession. We couldn't buy their oil any longer. They would be poor.

This is the reason they don't use an oil embargo any longer. They tried it. It hurt us. We couldn't buy their oil. They suffered.

End of story.

The US economy would collapse and then the world economies would also crash and this could start off a world recession.

It would ripple a world wide market crash and they would end up suffering just as much.

it s very good idea if they think of it properly thy will gain their dignity back and no one will harm them and they can control the world if they want to but they not brave enough to do such think.

They have not invested it for charity purposes, they earn on it. i think they are ones to suffer more
