You can't tell people something they are not ready to hear. You are probably right and she probably knows it on some level. When dealing with friends you are always taking a chance when bringing up an issue like that, that you will upset them. You did it, now give her time to calm down, then let her know you only want the best for her because you care about her but your friendship is important to you so you won't bring it up again if she doesn't want you to.

Truth often hurts.She'll be mad for a bit, but you probably hit the nail on the head and she may already be frustrated with the situation. OR he may be a selfish twit and already made it clear he won't deal with it....and NO one likes to be reminded that they've made a bad choice.
