The americans as a whole reacted i believe as anyone would have. I mean when for no real reason 2 large buildings and thousands of people are destroyed. I mean what would you do... Then planes full of people died for no reason. Ok they said the reason was that we are a infadels.

In other words, the "Muslim extremists" believe it is now their God-given duty to end the world as man has made it, by cleansing the world of "infidels," or "unbelievers." They identify "infidels" as everyone that does not embrace their particular version of Islam, which even includes many of their fellow Muslims.

what position does that FORCE you into... kill or be killed am i right? Actually now that i think about we havent done enough to redeem the deaths of those who were killed in sept 11... we are a lax society, and non caring bunch... thanks now you got me pissed off... LOL

And for George Bush... i voted for him and im very disappointed in him.. Ok we have a war to fight, but he is so narrow minded he cant take care of the rest of the country and can only focus on the war. The rest of the US will gone because of economics and there wont be anything to fight for.

Sorry for rambling

i think the bush administration scared the american citizens. the reaction was very exagerated. sure, 9/11 was a very tragic event but the things that have followed is just stupid. what i really think is funny is how there was the whole terrorism threat chart or whatever you call it. and how the news was always like... "theres gonna be an attack in los angeles this thanksgiving" or crap like that. its like on bowling for columbine if anyones seen that. news in the united states is always so negative. oh there was a shooting here, this person died bcuz of this and blah blah blah blah blah. in canada, according to bowling for columbine, the news is much more positive like new speed bumbs being installed. i think that citizens in america are too scared and i blame the media, as well as the bush admin.

I think it's over rated really. It was a tragedy true, the president hesitated because for some people, thoughts take longer to accumulate. In his case, he was still thinking about the story being read to the children, he was trying to make sense of it, that's why he hesitated. Sep. 11 is in the past, a lot of ppl lost their loved ones, but they need to stop crying about it now. What about March 2003 when we invaded iraq, till this day we still have soldiers dying in this war for Oil and you don't see their families overburning it, or crying about it over and over. The families of the victims of Sept. 11 wanted monetary compensation, for what, why do people wanna make money out of a tragedy. We are too hung up on this issue, we need to focus on different issues and stop paying attention to the whinning that constantly occurs. Sep 11 was a tragedy, it's in the past, let it go, stop crying about it, and stop asking for money. Let's focus on bringing our True American Heroes home, we've lost enough of them in vain, we don't need to loose anymore.

I THINK WE WENT BALISTIC. EVERYONE IN NEW YORK RUNNING BECAUSE THEY WERE SCARED FOR THERE LIFE. JUST THINK WHAT WOULD YOU OF DONE THEN YOU'LL BE ABLE TO THINK ABOUT WHAT THOSE PEOPLE DID. WE ARE ALL PEOPLE AND DO THINK SOME THINGS THE SAME SO WHAT DO YOU THINK?I ALSO THINK THE ONLY REASON THAT WERE IN AFGHANASTAIN IS BECAUSE BUSH IS MAD ABOUT SEPT. 11 AND PEOPLE ARE STARTING TO THINK HE CAN'T RUN A COUNTRY.

i think we as americans should not be so judgmental of muslims because of it. coz i do see a lot of the asians being dubbed as 'racist' after the event. and i dont think you can identify a small minority (al queda) with a whole community (muslims) and discriminate and blame them for it. but apart from that aspect i think the shock and anger is justifiable with the monumental scale of death and destruction.

I think everyone was shocked and wanted to get revenge on who did it. And Bush is gay...I hate his guts for what he is doing to our country...he got us in over 1 trillion dollars in debt for wars. He started all this with Alkida, and starting the war and fight with Iraq and Afganistan. What retard he is?!?!

Ridiculous. No matter the President, he is only following popular opinion.
