YES THE LAKERS WIIILLL DO IT! Look at all their talent that has room for improvement, espeically in the post: Lamar Odom, Kwame Brown, Ronny Turiaf, Andrew Bynum, Smush Parker, Sasha Vujacic... Then they always have KOBE! If they work out a deal for KG, they're gonna do even better. Lakers all the way next season!

Lakers hopefully...not the Heats. Although it would be very very exciting seeing these two teams in the 07 Finals.

P.S. - to all the Miami fans out there..Heats sucks and will not and I repeat not repeat. Shaq is old...Mourning will retire as well as Payton. Wade is too young of a superstar to carry this team himself. Kobe has a better chance than Wade.

I don't think the Lakers will make it because Kobe is too much of a one man team. Maybe if he played with others and keep his stuff to himself, he would be better. The Mavs will win next year

I gotta hope the Lakers can do it. But if i go with my brain instead of my heart, watch out for the mavs, dirk might not hit a cold streak in the finals next year. GO LAKERS! All they need is 1 more scorer.

that doens;t mean anything he was the mvp because of dunkin, every player on that team is good because of dunkin w/o dunkin they wouldnt make the playoffs guaranteed. as for your question i would say celtics, the resoning behind it is because if the celtics played the best team (the spurs) they woudl win, the spurs can;t handle 3 superstars. Bowen could take care of ray but that would leave pierce, and garnett open, dunkin is an awsome player but garnett is diffrent he can do anythign and would dominate dunkin the way amare does. celtics would beat the spurs as well as most ofther teams, they sill have a bench they just drafted a young center and perkins would start. if they sign a couple of vetreans such as webber, etc. they could be the team to beat.

The Houston Rockets. Just watch out when Tmac and Yao are healthy. Last season, they missed a combined 60 games between the two of them and it really hurt the team. When they are healthy, the Rockets will be tough to beat.

Early faves
East
Detroit (always there)
Miami (always champs until beaten)

west
Dallas (young team, owner wants to win it)
San Antonio (samw with Det, always top team)

Id like to see the Lakers do well, but they need to add another good player to help out with Kobe, but you have to be happy with the progression of Brown

Naw, Lakers will make the playoffs though.

But the mavs will win, they have soo many young players with talent. as long as team stays intact they should get even better.
