Here is the problem with global warming.
1. We do not know that it is occurring.
2. Even if it is occurring, we do not know if the sun is to blame, like with the melting of Martian polar caps, or if it is planet caused.
3. Even if it is planet caused, we do not know if it is nature, like when Krakatoa and Helens blew, or man caused.
4. Even if it is man caused, we do not know if the overall effects of an increased growing season and farmland increase is a bad thing.
5. Even if it is bad, we do not know if we can reverse it.
6. Even if we can reverse it, we do not know if it is more economically efficient to adapt or to try to reverse it.
But think instead of wack a mole at chucky cheese you could play club a seal in alaska. Could be fun.

You are behiend the times buddy. Maybe back in the mid 90s the republicans preached that global warming was BS(energy companies paid top dollar for that) but these days even us republicans are admitting global warming is fact.
The thing is the only people this will effect is our grandkids. So if you care about them, I guess you should do something about it. Especially if you live in the Mid-West because that is where the most pain is going to, not the coast.

Wow, I can't believe there are idiots who are still pushing the "global warming is BS" line. The only 'scientists' who make such claims are the ones the energy companies trot out.
This is another issue, like desegregation, where the Republcians are going to look back at how that acted, or in this case, failed to act, and will be ashamed.

I think the bright side of Global Warming would be answering the questions: "What have we learned about our power to destroy the only home we have? How can we change what we do every day?"

Bro, Global warming a a scam anyway. One or two degrees is "natural" - humans haven't been around long enough to learn to predict ANYTHING. Look at faulty weather prediction, storm prediction, etc. In order to say there is a problem, we have to see something outside the curve, a few degrees rise in our plant's temp is hardly a reason to freak out.

Sure it will, but it will also eventually kill all of our beautiful coral reef's, that basically support life in the ocean, which will in turn kill many species in the ocen as a trickle down effect, that will in turn, have a devistating effect on the lives of virtually every culture that lives off the ocean. Among other things......

Think of it this way. Less ice to hide in= less ice to live on.
