Yes. After all America is a free country and its people should have the right to marry whom ever they want. Maybe not adpt because the child will have to go through a lot in life. It is equality that should be important. You should see people who are dying. People who have not seen their family in years because they came out of the closet. Now all of a sudden the family feels guilty and wants to make decisions. The partner of the dying person has no rights, in some states they can not be in the intesive care unit whit them. How would you like to have someone make decisions about your end of life, who has not talked to you in 20 years because of your lifestyle? Also same sex marriage should totally be legalized because I think that everybody should be allowed to love who they want to and for all those people who be sayin no because it is in the bible and crap I think that that is some bull because i think that god loves everybody no matter what their sexuality is because why would there be so many gay people out here I mean hello!!! So if god can love a serial rapist or killer or racist person but can't love a gay person, then I'm sorry but that's a messed up god.

no .. I don't think they should be able to marry ..if you look the bible god made a women to be the mans mate .. plus I think it is wrong for same sex partners to have children , weather it is one of them gets pregnant or they adopt.. think how that child feels .. think about all the crap that child gets at school .. life is hard enough for kids now day why make it worst.. I don't care if people want to have sex with the same sex as they are , but I do not think it is right for them to show it off in public . keep it to their self's ..I sure do not want my son's walking down the street see girls kissing or guys kissing .. a man and a women is natural ..

I think it should. I live in Vermont, and we have civil union here, which is nice but still not the same thing. Many people opposing gay marriage and civil unions just want to keep their vision of gays and lesbians as promiscuous and irresponsible. I know enough homosexuals to know that they are as likely if not MORE likely to be faithful, loving and responsible partners. They ARE NOT any different than heterosexuals when it comes to feelings and relationships. When the world realizes that there is more than one sexual orientation (there are THREE- heterosexual, homosexual and bisexual) and accepts it, it will be a better place to live.

I believe a person no matter what sex they are, are truly able to love the same sex equally. However, God made Adam and Eve to procreate the earth. Same sex should never be able to wed. It's against the way we were created.

Yes I do. You can't help how you feel about someone, and everyone deserves to be happy. My father is a nurse and all the time he sees people who are dying. People who have not seen their family in years because they came out of the closet. Now all of a sudden the family feels guilty and wants to make decisions. The partner of the dying person has no rights, in some states they can not be in the intesive care unit whit them. Gov't should stay out of the bedroom. They Shouldn't have the say so in you can and can't marry. If this country truly wants to have a seperation of church and state, they need to drop it; who you love and want to spend your life with is none of anyone's business.

Yes. The government shouldn't be able to deny two people in love the right to devote themselves to each other in the form of marraige.
