i just bought a 1997 ford taurus. is there anyway I can get one of those keyless entry remote things for it? maybe if i go to a ford dealer?

yes you can, usually a place that does car alarms and window tints have them.

keyless entry and remote starting systems can be bought at any good auto parts store. If your car came with keyless entry from the factory, you must go to Ford to buy a keyfob and have it programmed

You can get one installed either by the dealer ship or a local shop. It might cost a fair amount of money though, so keep that in mind as well. If you dont NEED it, there is no point of getting it.

just break out a window....there's your keyless entry....and just having a Ford Taurus is a theft deterent....rock on

EBAY, call your dealer first to see what serial number you need. They're not all the same. Once you get that number look on ebay and make sure the numbers match. You can find instructions on the net to program it.

You can get keyless entry for anything that has automatic locks!

Yes, go to a Ford dealer. If they can't get one for you (they may have not been avaible by factory) you can always go to anj aftermarket place. They can install one for you. It's pretty simple :)

If it has power locks, an alarm shop can install a car alarm that will lock and unlock it. Check with some local stereo shops for prices.

try ebay... if it doesn't have a setup that works for you then you caould either a) jimmy rig it... or b) get it from the dealer... they should have it
