It depends on what you consider Great Paying and how hard you are willing to work. Real Estate pays great. You don't have to have a college education, but you have to take a pre licensing course and courses thereafter to keep your licensure. None of them are very long. In Florida the longest course is a 72 hour course I believe, and that is for a real estate broker. Realtors have to work to get the sale though. So while it is good money it doesn't come easy. I also know that some truck drivers and building contractors who make a good living. Again it depends on what you consider GREAT PAYING.

I know several people that have great jobs and didn't go to college. One friend is an Creative Director for and Ad agency. And the other is an Office Manager for another top agency in Portland. I went to school for 8 years and make much less than them and have student loans. So college isn't really necessary if you are smart, have a plan, and have dedication to execute it.

If you are willing to work hard you can go into construction and join the union. My husband does not have a college degree and still makes over $60,000 a year and they get a raise every year. It helps if you live in a state with strong unions like New York or Illinois, but they always pay more. But you definitely work for your money!

Yes, sales jobs. They're usually straight commissions, so you have to work for your money, but GOOD salespeople are usually the highest paid, because there's so much motivation. And no salary cap!
