And don't just say "they have only scored one goal in 3 games", because that is not enough. I want real opinions on why we Americans cannot play with the rest of the world.

they don't really get, they're not passionate about it, the european teams have decades and decades of experience, the us is only now statringto get into it, not enough fans, they don't play enough yr around. most of the european playrers play for different teams, and different countries at the time, so they have more experience, they've been exposed to more, hey have better techniques.....

The US team only has 1 point from tieing that game last Sunday with Italy. They play someone again today. If they do not win that game, the will be out of the Cup. It is a point thing. The team with the highest point # at the end of the games will win. Right now, Germany has 9 points. US has 1. See why they might be out? But if they win today, they will have 4 points and might stand a chance. I love the world cup!

the american team is in the verge of elimination because most of the players in the team don`t have the potential to be in any of these kind of tournaments,another probable reason is because their coach didn`t take the other teams seriously,he probably thought that the qualified teams for the world cup would be pretty much the same as all those friendly games his team had before the world cup tournament.In other words bruce arena under estimated the teams.

well in the cup you can only lose so many times and the US team has not been winning that much. It's like a tounoment the best play the best and at the end whoever wins in the last game is the winner

They have a mixed team, like Eddie lewis plays in the English league but in a lower league, there best player Landon Donovan failed in Germany, they don't have a world class player like a Totti, Kaka, Shevchenko...... and they don't have enough teams in the u.s to breed better players. Also that guy in defence gives away far too many fouls. Clint Dempsey is kinda good though

Couch Bruce Arena do not do the research about other teams that play against them like the rest World Couches do, now US did research when they started play Ghana.

Ghana is better than usa, most of then play in better leagues compared to usa. usa needs to start preparing for next world cup from now else they will face the same feat. fro ur info ghana will score more goals in the 2nd half

Lack experience in playing with professionals.
Don't take the game seriously, and not enough money compared to American football players.

They just don't have enough players with a high level of experience. Too many of the players play in MLS, which is garbage. They need to get more players in European football.
