I am refering to those who sing the song, wriggle their butts, and look good. I don't mean to undermine any true vocalists out there, singing well is difficult. But most of these people just shout or belt into a microphone. Just wondering what other people's thoughts are on this matter.

Glad I'm not the only one who questions these 'artists'! As mentioned, there really are some true vocalists and musicians, but most are just sooo crappy -- its used to be that one had to have a voice to get anywhere, now pure crap is everywhere. Most know nothing about music, or rhythm and rhyme, let alone voice control, pitch, breathing and have no talent. !!! "Stop The Insanity!!!" (Also, agree with 'Maverick' - er, um, er, Mick, er wha's me name, oi ya - Keef!)

Musician indicates you can play an instrument. Vocalist is the closest some might come. All you need it seems is a pretty face and nice body

Its about time that question was asked.No!NO!NO!They are not musicians!!!! Thats whats wrong with todays "pop".Most of the vocals are fake too.No talent or skill needed.
