Last night I was just laying in bed reading,my husband who is lying next to me (I thought he was sleeping)turns over and says...what is wrong with you? Are you mad at me or something? Why don't you ever want to have sex???
Mind you, he works 12 hour days,I am a mommy to two little kids under the age of 5,all day...and we do have sex at least once a week....is this not enough to keep him happy? Obviously not. But to approach it like that....is not cool.
Am I wrong?

Your husband wants to sex. He's pouting. Trust me, sometimes I find myself doing it too. I'm guilty as charged :) I've been married for 15 years now and I simply cannot get enough for my wife's loving. We've done it 7 times in one day - our record. Mind you, we were both 22 at the time (got married when we were 20), and in college.

The number #1 need of a husband is SEX. It sounds primal but it's true.
The number #1 need of a wife is AFFECTION.

So the next time, he does that (after you collect yourself from the shock of the statement), here's what you do:
1. Grind his bones into bread. Yes, wear him out in bed.
2. Immediately after he comes, tell him how much you love pleasing him in bed (Husbands are most receptive to their wives' requests and feedback AFTER sex and before they fall off to SLEEP).
3. The next morning as you are both getting dressed, tease him sexually "Do you want more me? Call me today from work and I'll tell you."
4. When he calls you, tell him to see the perfumed note in his pants pocket or wallet before he gets dressed that says, "Sex begins in the kitchen."

Yes. You are wrong. You are obviously only taking into account your sexual needs, and are making an assumption that everyone your age has the same sex drive and can therefore be satisfied with once a week.

Your husband obviuosly has a higher sex drive than you, and his is not being satisfied.

Most men up to age 50 have a sex drive that enables them to have sex at least once a day.
Many women start losing there sex drive at age 35. Some women just dont have much of a sex drive to begin with.

You are going to have to get in sync together. If you have 2 children, then perhaps some permanent birth control is in order.
Then you may feel more comfortable about having sex without the fear of getting pregnant.

I know what you mean, I am a mommy of two (boys) age 2 and 4 and I baby sit two other boys 12 hours a day and still manage to keep the house clean and make sure everyone has eaten. Now don't compare yourself to me and I won't do the same. but I still manage to have sex with my husband at least 3 times a week.

Truthfull we don't anymore. Not in the traditional sense. We are quite in love though, have a happy marriage and are quite content in our lives. But we each don't find that type of physical interaction as an important ingredient and we both have low sex drives, so it has worked well. I think we are the exception, not the rule, and most couples would find this unacceptable, but I offer it to you only as an another example of a lifestyle that has not harmed our relationship. We do hug, hold, kiss and are traditional in every other loving way.

well that depends on how our week is going, if it is good we have sex, you didn't say how long it has to last, at least once a day. If we are upset with each other we can go a week without any intimate relationship. We have been married since we were 17, 23years.

I'm not married but I've been dealing with someone for almost a year, and really it varies. one time we did it one time in a whole week, but usually we'll do it two or three times during a day maybe about 3-4 days a week just depends on how much time we spend with each other

We've been married for a a little under a year, in that honeymoon so we are still having it everyday, sometimes up to 12 times a week.

Well, didn't you know that on top of being a mother, housewife, and caretaker of your husband, that you are also supposed to be a raging sex maniac?
Next time that he is exceptionally tired, wear your sexiest lingerie and pounce on him like the tiger you are. Either he will relate with your tiredness or he will attack you. Either way, he will feel like you are interested in his sexy body.
My husband and I only have sex like twice a week...not enough for me. But, he thinks it is ok to try to wake me up at 3 to get a piece...b/c my "*** looks hot". Used to be a compliment. Men are horny beasts!
