In Microsoft Word, you click on 'Insert' at top of page. Then, click on 'Symbols'. It will give you a whole bunch of symbols to chose from, including the upside down exclamation and letters with accents. The upside down question mark is in the fifth row from the top....in the middle.

An upside down question mark is made by holding down the "alt" key and typing on your number pad "1448" Example:
Alt > 1448 = ¿

Or a Spanish keyboard, just as the one I'm using.

They are used in the spanish language, and they are only on spanish keyboards. The best I can recommend is copy+paste them if you have an english keyboard.

check our charater map and it will tell you to hold down the alt key and press a sequence of numbers and when you let up the alt key it will show.
