Most OBGYn's recommend that women refrain from sex during the last month of pregnancy when the baby drops and the cervix begins to open. There is an increased risk of infection to both mother and child during this time.

You can have sex during the last month. It is a suggestion to bring on labor for a mom who is past her due date. While the pregnant woman may feel too big to have sex, it is safe unless she has started to dialate. In this case, it can put bacteria in there and cause an infection. Other then that, you should be okay.

It is usually fine all the way up until your water breaks unless you have high risk factors so you should always ask your doctor. A lot of docs recommend using condoms in the last couple of weeks to reduce the chance of infection, but the actual chance is pretty small itself. And, just fyi, the latest study released stated that sex does NOT bring on labor. It's my experience that it doesn't as well.

Yes, as long as there are no complications in the pregnancy. Your partner can call her OB/GYN if she wants to be sure.

In the last 2 weeks of pregnancy, it can stimulate labor, so be ready. They think it's caused by the enzymes in the sperm and the contractions brought on by orgasm.

Good luck.

Yes (although most women aren't feeling that great by then) Some doctors suggest it as a means to induce labor due to the muscle contractions it causes.

basically you suppose to have sex not really the very beginning because this is your for most your sick time or pain time but other then that they say have sex all the way until youre due date because you can rupture the sac and don't no and the baby and the mother can get an infection

Actually, unless you are trying to induce labor most doctors will tell you not to have sex. Also , if you are starting to dialate it can cause a bacterial infection

Unless the doctor has told you otherwise, it is safe to have sex, up until the water breaks, then they worry about infection, or foreign substances entering the uterus.
