I LOVE LINGERIE!! I think I might have a fetish. No, really. But getting to your question, some women might not like it cause they feel uncomfortable in the garments. Whether that discomfort is physical or mental or emotional probably depends on the person and what exactly the outfit is.
Personally, I recommend that all women become more accepting of their own sexuality. Stop thinking of it as a duty to "serve your man." Do it cause you love him; and you love yourself!! Here are a few of my favorite sites to browse with my boyfriend. Have fun! hehe.

I will never understand all this uncomfortable talk by some women. I work dressed up in business attire, everyday, and I always wear lingerie of some kind. Always a garter belt, bra, pantries or thong and stockings. sometimes a camisole, as a top under my suit, or a bustier instead of a garter belt.
I am dressed in excess of 10 hours a day and do not find it uncomfortable at all. As far as time getting dressed, it takes much longer to dry my hair, and put on eye makeup, than to hook up a pair of stockings, which takes less than i minute.. Please,!
And as far as men ae concerned, I have found then most appriciative of the care that I take getting dressed, and they usually never bother to take off the garterbelt or stockings. Unlike pantyhose, there is no need to!

I think it is too bad for both partners when a woman finds it awkward to dress as a woman. I am not a fan of any frilly bedtime lingerie, but I have drawers of lingerie I wear to work every day. Beautiful lace thongs and bikinis, garter belts to hold up my stockings, (no nasty pantyhose for me please) silk and satin camisoles and pretty bustiers to wear under my suit jackets, and dresses.
I wear these items day to go to work, so if I am wearing them with a man in the evening there is no big deal for me.. I am not wearing a costume, I am wearing what I wear everyday, and yes it is very, very sexy. At least that is what i am told.

Yes they do look sexy however suspenders are not comfortable, you can feel them there against your leg / waist, sometimes when u sit down they can dig into your leg lol, (dear oh dear I'm not ruining your image am I?).
I like wearing lingerie not suspenders.
I think women dont wear them for their men sometimes because they may not be interested in going to that trouble for the guy at a certain stage.

I think a lot of women dont like to do that sort of thing because theyre not comfortable with their bodies, and they cant see it as something sexy. Plus others cant understand putting on all that.... equipment, when its just going to come right back off again.
I actually quite enjoy it. Some day children and gravity will take their toll, why shouldnt i make sure my husband gets all hot freakiness he can before then?
You're only young once.
Guys think its hot because it is hot. lol. I dont know why its sexy. But damn. Theres just something about black fishnet thigh highs and a garter belt. hot stuff.
Women would rule the world if they understood how powerful it is. lol.

I don't know why some women are that way. I love lingerie, and especially garter belts and stockings, and wear them to work everyday. You you couldn't pay me to wear a pair of pantyhose, and some women love them. I guess its all a personal taste.
I don't know how women can find a garter belt uncomfortable unless they are buying cheap ill fitting ones. the same is true for stockings. to be really comfortable they should be good quality soft stockings, and be long enough to come to the top of the thigh. Stockings that are too short are uncomfortable, and that could be part of it.

Lack of confidence! If a woman acts anything but sexy while she's wearing sexy stuff, she has low self-esteem, and she may have jealousy issues. Does she think you like it because it reminds you of sexy mags or porn? She needs to get over it because you'll never have a happy marriage unless she has the confidence to feel sexy. YOU like it, isn't that enough for her??
She can disgise it with shyness, modesty, whatever, but the truth is the truth. Wouldn't you love it if you came home and she met you at the door with a sexy garment on, a big smile, and she said, "Hi you sexy thing. Wanna play?"

Well they are tight itchy and tie you up and you have all thoes hooks buttons and trying to keep the hose from running only to have a man take it off two seconds after you spent all that time trying to poke your body into it. Yeah it's kinda frustrating from the woman's point of view but seeing your face pratically drooling like a deer caught in the headlights almost makes it worth it.

well, your question is confusing. you are asking why we might find it uncomfortable, but at the same time you are assuming that we like it.
personally i don't know many women that don't like to wear something sexy. maybe it's the type of clothing that you want your girl to wear that's uncomfortable.....
so maybe the question isn't 'why do women find lingerie cumbersom'.....maybe the question is what kind of freaky fetish do you have???

I think for most, sexy lingerie is either uncomfortable or that women find their bodies unattractive. Why wear something that to us looks damn fine but for them they think it's looks ridiculous or slaggy.
My g/f is the same, but I don't care I love her body and I love her being naked... She finds herself repulsive for some reason.
Women are just odd.
