My husband wants to come home at lunchtime and have sex. We have 3 teenagers at home all day due to summer break. Am I wrong to think that we should have sex first thing in the morning or at night when it is understandable for 2 people to be in bed? Yes, nooners are fun & the bedroom door has a lock, but it just doesn't seem right to me. Am I wrong?

You are not wrong at all, what the heck do your kids think...oh dad's home everyone plug your ears! Come on, he needs to get a grip and repect you and your household.

I think the big question is, What are the kids doing around the house each day? Get them out of the house doing something constructive( jobs, volunteer work at the YMCA or the local parks,
a class at the local art center or even dare I say summer school). Take back your life, make them live theirs. Then the afternoons can be delightful again.......
The thought of the 'rents actually having sex will drive them out anyway.
You should be very happy to have a husband with teenage children still pursuing you that way!

I wouldn't say you are wrong but I don't think your husband is wrong either. The truth is that I don't think you should hide the fact you two have sex from your kids. In doing so you are sending them the signal that there is something bad about sex. I think anytime you and your husband feel like having sex is a good time to have sex. It really shouldn't be a scheduled lunch time activity for every day. It is more fun and naughty when it is a more spur of the moment type thing.

Maybe it's just cause I am a guy, but I don't see anything wrong with that. Can't you guys kick out your three kids to the backyard and tell them to stay outside and play... Tell them that Mami and Papi want to have an hour of sleep together. I mean I'm used to the fact that my parents sleep together since I was a baby. And you know, somehow I never really knew when it was happening... It's tricky... pretend you guys just go to sleep and lock the door and be ready to break up in case one of your kids knocks on the door.... also, i think you should do it quitely. Shhh!!!
But as an answer to your question, I don't think anybody is wrong. I mean your kids are at home all the time it doesn't really matter when you guys have sex in my opinion. Just think about one thing: do you YOURSELF want to have sex with your husband when he offers ya to go have sex during afternoon time? If yes, then go ahead and drive him! Knock yourselves out! But if no.... i don't really know what to say....

Yeah I think that your over reacting.
Lets be serious your kids are teenagers if you think they don't know about sex your being nieve second trying to keep your sex life on a schuled isn't a good idea you sex life becomes routine once that happens sex gets boring and one of yous are bound to stray.
keep it exciting that fact that you might get caught could be turn into a turn on rather then a turn off. Play with it have fun and stop being so up tight.

I think it's great that your game for a nooner! My wife thinks that bed time is the only appropriate time for sex, and only when she's ready. Teenage kids understand.

thats a tricky question I guess if they are older teenagers I mean then maybe not everyday just every once in awhile but it might help them to know that there mommy and daddy still got the heat :) And that when they get older and settle down with someone that after so many years together that love can still exsist. So many kids that grow up in homes with parents that don't love eachother anymore it affects them as adults with there love lives :) Just don't be noisy thats what pillows are for lol :) good luck

I can understand your being uncomfortable with the idea of that. Personally, I'd have him come home, give the kids money to go out to lunch, and then you have the house to yourself. The other option is "be a teenager" and go park the car somewhere. I've done it with my wife. :-) You could also get a hotel room for an hour too.

my parents never had sex when we were awake and about. Simply because my mom couldnt handle the thought of it.
I dont blame you. I would compromise with him and save up and once every other week or so rent a hotel room and meet him there for some afternoon delight. Not only would it be more.... interesting, but your teenagers wouldnt need to know where you are or what you're doing.

No. You're not wrong. If you are not comfortable with the timing, he should respect that. Maybe go to a hotel for an occasional noon time fun, but not at home, where all the kids can hear whats going on.

no - the teens and their friends don't need to know that mom and dad are getting it on....summer break will be over in a couple months and then you can have nooners all of the time
