Why are lots of Famous HIP Hop artist making cheesy music, they not deserve money, then why get it?

Hey guys. Alooot of the HIP HOP music out there is a bunch of crap in my opinion and i mean the one where they rap. I don't see any art in what they make. some artists do , some make nice stuff even combining actuall beautiful singing with rap. however, there's a lot alot that i believe is not worth the money.When are these hip hop artists going to start really working on their craft and making something that has value? Sometimes it's more about just screaming and bringing out the energy to the public but that doesn't cut it. If we're going to pay for something, it better have some creativity. Use music alittle better, many times they just repeat the same thing over and over. .. they are afraid to sound like other types of musics just because they want to portray this bad *** image but if their music was not so repetitive and they actually worked on creating a story, it would be better.

I have to say that I totally agree with you on this one. I'm not really into rap as it is, but I like to listen to some of it. All the real rap has died. I miss Eminem. This isn't to say that there aren't any good rappers out there, just too many play rappers.

So your fed up with the man. The radio stations don't play the real hip-hop/ the good hip-hop because people don't want to listen to it. People don't want to hear a story as the get crunk unless its a story about getting laid. People don't want a history lesson. People just want an catchy hook that they can't get out of their heads.

Its not the artist's fault, its the fault of the fans who listen to them and kind of direct the next method of pleasing their ears through the artist. A rapper comes out with a song that he thinks is so, so. Probably would have cut the song from the record if he didn't have any space to put it on. It goes on the radio and BAM! People love it. Now that artist is stuck in that style.

It happens not only with rap but all music.

Well, the same reason why pop, rock. jazz, etc. make music that suck.

Music is entertainment, and unfortunately HIP HOP is going through a suck phase.

I agree with you 100 %. It has no art to it but to make money but I will say that there are a few that represent:

TI, Young Joc, Papoose, Jeezy

That really live the street life.

So u are saying that hiphop iz falling down or u hate hiphop 4rom the begining when it 1st appeared....?Lemme tell u my opinion dog i use 2 listen 2 hiphop from the earliest 90s but starting from the earliest 2000s it started falling down,letz take that punk rapper 50cent as an example he iz so sick and wack rapper and totally different from those rappers in the mid-90s such as the legend 2pac.But there are still few rappers who are still somehow great and still kickin' it in the game such as:Emin3m(marshal mathers),Kanye west and the game.While the otherz.........SUCKZ.......!
