U know what? Im a woman & I have thought about that! Thats a good concept actually. It would prevent alot of chics from falling in the bowl. I never understood why leaving the seat up is such a big deal. Are these chics backing into the bathroom with their eyes closed?? It takes 2 seconds 2 pull the seat down, although, it IS considerate for a man to put the seat back down. If the man leaves it down for a woman, & a woman leaves it up for a man, the world would be a much better place & many marriages would be saved! :-D

Hmmm I did not know it was such a big issue to put it down after lifting it up.
Kind of like the whoever takes out the milk,puts it away..you would never leave it out and expect someone else to put it away for you.
I do not put the toilet seat down so why should I put it up??
As to the woman who said she does not know why it matters she obviously has not had the experience of sitting down on a toilet when some guy left the seat up...1 time of that and she will know why it matters in a flash. LOL :)

Because. I'm not gonna go to the bathroom on the seat when it's lifted up. How about you leaving it down? And we can all be happy. Us women have to have some kind of rulership. All the men do everything else. Oh yeah...men are also gone all day at work. So, why would the seat be up if yall are not gonna use it? We have to clean all day. Don't you think we're gonna have to use the bathroom some time? Yeah, just leave it down.

Because there's only one time men have to stand...when they pee. There's two times a woman has to sit, and one time a man has to sit. So makes more sense since it has to be down 3/4 of the time to leave it down :D. Bet you never thought of it that way huh. Although I do know a single father who taught his daughter to leave the toilet seat up.

The most ridiculous battle between the sexes. Why can't both sides agree that closing the lid all the way is best. More sanitary, and looks better altogether. There would be no seat "issue", if everyone would close the lid.

I never got that myself. Personally it doesn't bother me one bit if it's up, I can simply put it down to use the toilet. No big deal. I mean if us women use it down and leave it down when they are down, then what's the difference if men use it and leave it up. I mean you don't hear men complaining that we leave the seat down. I am a guy and out of courtesy, put the toilet seat back down when I'm finished. However, all you people saying "because we fall in" as a reason, you are clearly blind, blond and/or retarded. Try opening your eyes and putting the seat back down!!

Because we might fall in!! what if we gotta go in the middle of the night sit down to go and fall in. The worst that can happen to men is that they get some on the seat.(which is totally gross)
