I want to tell the person that I admire thier strength through what most seem to make a difficult time. The person I am speaking of is one that realizes that life must go on and not stop because of the passing of a loved one. - The person is my boss, but I don't want to say anything wrong.

Like in all other areas of life, the KISS rule is a good one. (Keep It Simple, Stupid) ( no offense meant) Anyway, if you can find the words to tell your boss that beginning part about admiring their strength in what seems to be a very difficult time, and then continue with a short statement about remembering the happy memories of the past.......... "may the happy memories of the past carry you through this time of sorrow" something like that.

"I admire your strength through such a difficult time in your life. May it comfort and encourage you to know that others care deeply about your loss. As time marches on the pain will lessen but the cherished memories of your loved one will live on in your heart."
