Nine at the Palms. I've been there twice and their steaks are to die for.

My wife and I have lived here 14+ years. The best steakhouses we've been to are: The Charcoal Room at the Sante Fe Hotel/Casino, T-Bone at the Red Rock Hotel Casino, and Austins Steak House in the Texas Hotel Casino. Also, being a 21 dealer I generally poll my players regarding great dinning experiences....the best steak house places on the strip are Delmonico's at the Venetian, Kokomos at The Mirage, The steak house at Circus, Circus. I've eaten at the Prime at Bellagios and wasn't that impressed. The very best steak I've had (many times) is the filet at The Charcoal Room at the Sante Fe Hotel Casino - about 16 miles north of The Mirage on the strip. Good luck.

Palm Restaurant
The quintessential New York steak house has set up shop in Vegas in the Forum Shops at Caesar’s Palace and the Editors couldn’t be happier. Here you’ll find the best steak and the best lobster in town. The loud, New York-style atmosphere also adds to the experience. Check it out and call 702-732-7256 for reservations.

Prime in the Bellagio
Prime Word is that Steve Wynn convinced Jean-Georges Vongerichten (trust us, he’s a famous chef) to open a steak house at the Bellagio. The result is an upscale restaurant overlooking the Bellagio fountains that has become the hottest new steak house in Vegas. Call 702-693-7223 for reservations.

Lawry’s The Prime Rib
This well-known Beverly Hills restaurant has opened in Las Vegas and is a welcomed addition to the many choices Vegas offers for great prime rib. The atmosphere and décor is straight out of the 30’s and 40’s. Call 702-893-2223 for directions and reservations.

Morton’s of Chicago
Those of you who’ve been to Morton’s will not be surprised to learn that these popular restaurants were inspired by the Flintstones cartoon series. The Editors recommend the 3-lb. Brontosaurus steak. (Translation: The portions are HUGE!) Call 702-893-0703 for reservations.

Smith and Wollensky Steak House
Another NY steak house that has set up shop in Vegas. They built their own three-story building right in the middle of the Strip. Meatlovers can’t go wrong here. Call 702-862-4100 for reservations.

Take it from me the Prime at the Bellagio...WOW We jsut got back yesterday and damn it was good, a little pricey but great. I took my gf there and we reserved a table in front of the fountains...very romantic. I had the 12 oz filet($44) she had the chilean crusted sea bass($36) and they were amazing.....becareful prices can add up fast ....water for the table was 7.50 a bottle and salads were $12 and up a peice. But the most romantic restaurant by far. By the way we got engaged afterwards so I say it is the perfect place for romance and a GREAT meal.

I used to work at and my boyfriend still does work at Delmonico Stakehouse at the Venetian. It is owned by Emeril Lagasse and everything is made in-house. The stakes are dry aged three weeks there and the service is impeccible. If you decide to go, ask for Chris and Rob as your waiters, they do an amazing job. (Chris is my boyfriend). Also, if you are a wine drinker, they have an 80+ page wine list. Great selection of wines by the glass and bottles. You can call the restaurant directly: (702) 414-3737. Have a good trip!!!!!
