I'm not pregnant but I was just wondering if it was possible.

Theoretically, no. But the human body isn't a machine and it sometimes does strange things. It really depends on how you define "have a period." In a text book preganancy, you would see no blood from the time the embryo embedded in the uterine lining until the time you were actually about to deliver almost nine months later. But in my case, my uterus never read that text book. I had bleeding throughout both my pregnancies....ranging from spotting to full-blown period-type bleeding. Both my pregnancies were full-term, leading to healthy babies. Of course, since this sort of bleeding isn't textbook, I spent a large part of each preganancy on bed rest. Hope that helps!

It's not really considered a period but yes it is possible to bleed while pregnant. It's called spotting or implantation bleeding (when the fertilized egg attaches itself to the uterus). Some women can have light bleeding for almost all of their pregnancy and some women do not have it at all. However if there is heavy bleeding, that is a sign that something could be wrong and a doctor should be consulted immediately.

It's possible to have your period when you're pregnant, but it's not a normal period. Usually it's more like spotting, lighter and shorter than a normal period. If it's bright red and there's clots in it, it may be a sign of a miscarriage.

Yes, you can have a period while being pregnant, but you will need to check in with your Dr. to see if everything is okay. Normally you won't have one, but in some cases it does happen. All women are made differently but at the same time we function the same. Just check with the Dr.!
