Go to Edit on top of the browser, then click on Preferences. As soon as it opens, there is a button that says "Make Mozilla my default browser", just click on it. Its under the Navigation option on the left hand side of the menu.
Go to http://toolbar.yahoo.com/ and download the toolbar. But make sure you click on the link "Yahoo! Toolbar for Mozilla Firefox ". Its a link so make sure you click on the correct one. It will automatically install it in Mozilla for you.

1.When you install firefox and use it for the first time a window appears asking you if you want firefox to be your default browser. Click yes.
2.Install yahoo toolbar special for firefox from here:
http://toolbar.yahoo.com/firefox

go to tools internet options then make firefox as a home page
do to www.yahoo.com download section and download the toolbar for firefox. :D
