Yes. You can still have a period after you've gotten pregnant, although generally it will be lighter or shorter in duration. If you're still concerned that you might be pregnant, try an over the counter pregnancy test kit, but wait until your period has stopped before using it.

You could still be pregnant. The only way you know is from a pregnancy test. I would also wait till you are supposed to get your next period.

I got pregnant with an IUD, and I didn't know I was pregnant till I went to a doctor. It was weird. The IUD is supposed to be 99% for you not to get pregnant. But my daughter was the 1%.

It takes awhile before you can find out. Your body goes through changes. And that takes time so it's going to be awhile before you are quite sure.

Every "unusual period" with the possibility of pregnancy must be checked out. Have a pregnancy blood test and a sonography in some weeks.

Even after pregnancy occurs, some small amount of bleeding/spotting possible. NOthing to worry though! Hence best way is to wait for a week and do HCG hormone test for confirmation

It is possible to have a cycle while you are pregnant. The best way to tell is to take a Prego test 3X. More commonly, you'll get a false negative then a false positive. If it's positive, chances are you're pregnant. Get a test done! You could also go to a health dept or your gyno.

Spotting during pregnancy does sometime occur, but it can also be the sign of a miscarriage. You should contact your doctor right away.
