I'm am not here to judge any1 but being a mother I dont know how she could have down this thats just crazy why in the hell would you kill you baby after going thru the pregnancy labor and up bring then turn around and do that. I think that she needs some serious help 5 babies no I couldnt understand doing it to 1.
Dont get me wrong you have to have patience but she could have killed herself and allowed the kids to live.

It is a sad story and being schizophrenic myself I understand how you can be that out of touch with reality. These people who want to see her get the death penalty have no idea what this illness is like. Definitely, she should ber punished for what she has done but understand the nature of this illness...you might be able to use a telephone to call 911 but you really are not in reality when u have these profound delusons, voices, and hallucinations. It's a very sad outcome in her case.

I think she was crazy as a loon when she drowned her 5 kids. I think the doctor treating her should be jailed for murder for taking her off the meds, and allowing her to be with those kids.
Husband, not sure, but probably is scum. But he and his and her family had those kids covered EXCEPT FOR ONE FREAKING HOUR. Been nice if Texas could have covered that hour.
I think she needs to be institutionalized for the rest of her life.
And the state of freaking Texas does not think she was freaking crazy, I want to know what the freak they think crazy is.
Oh, wait, our current president is from where?

I would say that she should be put to death for what she has done.. but that would not be bad enough. There is not punishment horrible enough for what she has done to her own children. Just the thought of her makes me so angry..
Maybe she has a mental disease.. maybe not. There is really no way for any of us to know. I do feel though, that regardless of her mental state, she is cold blooded killer.. even worse, cause the victims were her own children.
She makes me sick..

It is a very sad story. Obviously she has some mental problems, but it is rooted in the spiritual battle. She needs people interceding for her to the throne of God.

a perfect example of someone who seriously needed help, everyone around her knew she needed help, but the help never came. i don't believe in the death penalty, period - but esp not for someone like her who was truly bonkers when she committed the crime. what's really sad is that so many people play with the insanity defense nowadays that when it's really warranted, no one wants to believe it... just a sad case all the way around.

She was definitely messed up. However, I believe her husband should have helped her when he noticed they symptoms. No one just snaps into someone with post-partum psychosis after displaying no symptoms.

I live in Texas and I think she is crazy;however, she does have to pay for her crimes.
I think in instances like this-----they need to crank up ole Sparky and fry her.
*it makes me mad to see her in the news and see her smile !!

She should get capital punishment. Or at least life without parole.
