Yup, husband is military. Right now he's in Iraq for 6 months. We currently live in Germany and haven't been home in 2 1/2 years. Going this summer, thankfully, and will try to catch up with everyone then. It sucks sometimes, but I love my guy and will go wherever the military sends us.

Consider our men and women in uniform, thousands of miles from home in an extremely hostile environment. Lookit what they're missing. Births of their children, deaths of relatives, graduations, partys, holidays. Missing a long weekend or a holiday ain't much. You should be thankful for what time you do get to spend with your family and friends, and for the fact that you have a J-O-B...

any indusrty that is open for 24 hours is not family friendly.
Hotels, police, fire and military are just examples of jobs that tend to make family life hard.

my dad,he works hard in N.Y so i didnt see him for about 2years ..he works too hard to make us dont need anybody or any one
