No I think that the United Nations has some problems but I also think the United States doesn't like the idea of the UN. when its existence doesn't please them but then when the UN goes along with what the United States wants to do they get praised by our government. I think the United States dropping out of the U.N. would in destroy it all together and leave nothing which means the last 60 years or so have gone to waste and the world will have no true global forum to bring problems to. I think it will be better when we get a president who really understands the meaning of diplomacy and the concept that their are often reasonable middle ground compromises on issues ....not the fer or against principle

These are all the people we count on; and you're right, they all suck. Including our leadership, they are all falling way short from righteousness.
Pulling out and creating a new group could be a solution; but I think we would end up with the same, or a worst, situation.
The thing would be, to some how, fix humanity then the people taking charge won't be evil.

There may well be no American protection tension help for reasons different than our very own, u . s . would not go through too badly. u . s . is between the loudest voices in the UN. the u . s . funds greater countries than maximum think of.There may well be no loans to different countries. There may well be no humanitarian help to different countries. it would harm the completed international better than it would harm the u . s .. despite if the u . s . did pull out of the UN, a important sort of countries will nonetheless be our allies, inspite of the place we stand in the UN. i've got faith we would desire to continually no longer pull out via need of our presence in many countries, no count if it particularly is protection tension or financial help. i'm proud to be an American. sure i'm! i do no longer innovations sharing the wealth. Pulling out may well be egocentric.

leaving would be the easy answer, but the easy answer usually has little value.
Throughout history more is accomplished by interaction than by ignorance.
Any country can stand idly by and do nothing, but great nations take responsibility and attempt to alter matters with involvement.
It is better to make mistakes whilst trying than to do nothing with no loss

That is a good idea, but, that is what the UN was supposed to be in the first place. So I really don't know the answer.

yeah, thats a great idea, us started it, hosts it, refuses to fund it, and then scapegoats it. if you want to get rid of extremists and undemocratic corruption, then shut down the us government instead

i think usa are like a big spoiled baby who thinks he's got everything right and everything should be his way. so... yeah it'd do us all a favor cuz then we wouldn't have to listen to them anymore and unwillingly support their acts.

Maybe the US should first look into why everyone dislikes them so much.
