So, after crunching the numbers: I would say Liberals.

Both sides bash each other equally.

But the fact is there is in reality only 1 big party. When you get down to it both sides are made up of the same kind of people. Rich white men who all went to school together. Most people don't even know that John Kerry and GW Bush are in fact distant cousins. Now I'm not saying that's bad or good, but just how people should see it. The only thing the really seperates the 2 sides is the smoke and mirrors talking heads like Ann Coulter and Al Frank create.


This thread alone proves how much power the talking head have. People to this day don't get how the game really works. For instance how many people know that the anti-abortion bill in South Dakota was created by a "Liberal". How many people know that GW Bush has pretty much broken every rule of being a "Conservitive" to the point where most people consider him a RNO(Republican in name only.). He spends like crazy, trys to change the country on a daily basis, and started an pointless war. Classic Liberal traits.

Do you know why the republicans are against Abortion? Because the Church makes them so much money. Do you know why the Democrates want to protect the enviroment? Because groups like Green peace make them so much money.

Trust me. There might be 2 sides but they are all ballers from the same colleges.




As for all that bullshit names calling back and forth, that is what you see on TV. What you don't get to see is all hand shakes and private meetings away from the cameras. All you have to do is watch CSPAN during some of the congressional meetings. during the votings you'll see both sides huddling with the other even though they were just ripping each other on STAGE.

Does it really matter who bashes the other side more. It's still bashing either way. I try not to bash anyone, I love to debate issues, because I think both sides have something to bring to the table, but I must admit that I will never take someone seriously if bashing is part of their strategy to make a point. I simply think it invalidates all they have to say, doesn't matter if they are conservative or liberal in my view. What I find really amusing though is that people who bash miss some important points. Who engenders all this type of bahavoir, and more importantly who benefits from it? I truly believe that politicians love it when we are at each other's throats, because it keeps us distracted from what they are really doing. That's where the real problem with partisan thinking lies. Untimately lawmakers are not going to act on our behalf, they will act in the best interest of government, and in turn we will suffer for it. No matter who is in power, or who gets bashed the most.

Neither one can have a civilized conversation with the other without resorting to name calling or false scare tactics.

They are both at the radical fringes of politics and are a scourge of this country. Unfortunately the majority of the politicians in Washington are the same way. They pander to the extreme political fringes of the populace and ignore all of the moderates in the middle that only voted for them because they happened to be the lesser of two evils.

Both sides are equally guilty of bashing. But I will say that the Liberals are hard to satisfy. President Bush is damned if he DOES do something about an issue and the same people damn him if he DOESN'T do something about an issue. Can't please 'em. The President is their fall guy.
