My dvd player in my PC has set itself to REGION 3 so now i cant play DVD's from REGION 1, you can only switch the Region 3 times and then it will be stuck on that region permantly, is there any way to fix this so i can play all the regions again? It happened with my old PC and i just bought a second DVD rom drive, but i dont want to do that again, so if anyone knows how i can keep the one drive and play all the regions unlimited times, that will be great

Do a search for your drive model and "region free hack." If you have a popular drive you'll porobably find a site that tells you if there is a way to modify your drive to play all regions.

Try going to the manufacture's web site of the DVD player and download and install the firmware update. After that remove and add back the DVD player in Windows Device Manager.

Don't know if this will work but worth a try.
