There was an article in the Roanoke times and World News back in the folowing months of Oct - Dec. saying the the DOC Department of Corrections would release 11,500 inmates in 2006

good most people locked up are there for non-violent crimes like drugs and prostitution. why should we be paying for that? help pay to train them to become eligible for the workforce. our constant imprisonment of these people is self-defeating.

i sure hope not.........i can't imagine all of those being reformed......thats a large number
