You should not do anything untill your doctor has released you from his or he care. You may hurt yourself and that would not be good.

I am answering this question as a doctor and an exericise enthusiast.
After delivery, and probably after a C section as in your case, the best time to start is after the wound heals(8th post operative day)and normal involution of the uterus ..I would say it is abt 3 months.Ask ur gynaecologist for the best time to start an exercise program.
U then need to do the exercise for to reduce the girth of ur waist.
I suggest u start with an exercise like brisk walking, jogging,or tread mill walking. You must do it to a level where there is an increase in ur heart level to about 130/min,at which point you start losing the excess fat you had accumulated during your pregnancy.
Combine this with abdominal exercise. The best and easiest is the "sit ups" and "crunches".A good personal trainer will guide you if you choose to join an exercise program.
You must eat with an eye to see that you have sufficient nutrition to carry out lactation, but dont put on weight.Plenty of fresh vegetables, fruits and carbohydrates, proteins in sufficient quantity.
High moderation of fats and oils.Be regular in your exercise programme. Good Luck!! :)

Give it a chance, this takes time to heal and most likely you have swelling there especially if its just recently you had the baby.
Just look after yourself and do all the right things and mother nature will take care of most of your problem.
One tip, do not wear a girdle or any constraint on your stomach, as you get better force your stomach muscles to do the work of all the sucking in you can. That will help everything.
Lastly watch your diet too.

Watch what your taking in, such as cutting your intake at meals and cut out any caffene, pop and sugar and increase your daily water intake and you will see results within days. They say if you have a 20oz pop a day you will gain 15 lbs in a year. Don't starve yourself but if you can eat a bigger breakfast and a modist lunch and small meal at dinner you will find this helps as well. As you have just had surgery on your belle you don't want to strain yourself at first but sit-ups and belle crunches can only help in reducing this. Your stomach muscles have turned to fat to protect your baby and now you just have to work them back to the norm.

Wait until your doctor says it is safe for you to exercise and then begin an approved exercise plan to strengthen your abdominal muscles. Do NOT be in a hurry to shrink your stomach because exercising too soon after surgery is not safe! You must give yourself time to recover from surgery first... then be concerned about your size. Keep in mind that as you recover, your stomach may reduce size on its own as well :)
