i say we will walk on mars in the next 50 years, as far as living there, maybe in the next 100-150

i don' believe in that human race will live on the mars, they might go there if they overcome the troubles of going there by travelling for almost 8 months. because it is a big challange to deliver humans there
in addition to that the atmosphere on the mars is different from ours in many ways, but the most important problem i believe is the magnetic field of mars, which it does not have one .
once you get there and when you get oxygen there but how are you going to balance the level of oxygen in the atmosphere. bacause if you don't balance it you cant breathe it.
and for the magnetic field
if you don't have a core like on earth working properly you can't protect yourself from the magnetic storms of the sun, all the radiation that comes from the sun will fry the living things on the planet. actually that gives me the idea of how this planet died long time ago.

Well hopefully we would get decent dialogue and Imperial stormtroopers being able to hit barn doors and best of all NO JAR JAR BINKS. As for traveling from Earth it might be the case but as for the Hyperspace I think it will be unlikely unless we figure out how to do it. Still I think the human race will colonize stars with generation ships in a few centuries and we should be colonizing the planets within the next century.

In a very long time. Don't listen to the rubbish about how we were meant to live on Earth, nowhere else. We have to get out of Earth at some time; Earth's resources will be exhausted and we will probably blow ourselves up someday if some of us don't live on some other planet.

It depends on when we can first learn to live together in peace on this planet and learn to cooperate with each other. If we can learn to do that, we will get there much faster. I wrote in to Star Trek years ago suggesting that they add a Russian to the crew, but got a nasty letter back about being un-American. I was supprised when they shortly added "Chekov" after I had received that letter. Not sure who wrote the letter. I just tossed it in the trash.

Human race will not/cannot live anywhere else other than earth in our solar family. Exploring others will be a THEORY and will remain that way till the end (of human race/earth).

I expect by the end of this century we will have a small community living on Mars.

Soon, my dear, soon.

Either land space will be filled up by the growing population, or
sea will swallow the land surface,or a plutonic bomb.

And dont forget the great SADDAM BIN BUSH,
& OSAMA HUSSEIN
& GEORGE LADEN.
