i would and i always wanted to be one. i have four children of my own in which they all are a blessing to me. it wouldn't matter if it was my egg the womans egg or the easter bunnys egg. i have a purpose in this life and right now it isn't the job that i'm working at now or i'm not a great scientist or doctor so i can help another human being out this way. by changing their lives and giving them a family. and i would be proud to know that i did that.

At the current time I would say yes I would. I absolutely loved being pregnant with my son and I look forward to having a second child soon I hope. I however would not do it for just anyone. A close friend who couldn't have children for certain reasons and I would have to know that the child is going into a good home. I offered only once before I met my husband, to a good friend who had been having problems conceiving, she had a couple of miscarriages trying to concieve with her then husband. I have still thought about it. It definately is not a "regular income" by any means but money is not a main thought if you are doing it for a friend.

My sil had some problems with possible cervical cancer so if she couldn't carry a baby (when she's married) I would surrogate for her. She is my daughter's god mother and she will be a great mommy some day. I would also do it for my best friend if she couldn't carry a child. We've been friends since 3rd grade and she would also be an awesome mommy.
It would have to be their eggs and sperms though. Not mine. I don't think i could give up my own child.

I will consider to do it for my family members, but not outsider. It will be tough to keep wondering how the child is doing when the child is taken away and lost in touch... Every woman has mother instinct to want the best for her child and there is always a bond, even though the egg may not come from her.

I gave my son up for adoption and that was hard so I know I wouldn't be able to be a surrogate. Even if it was someone elses baby.

ABSOLUTELY. If it was someone that I knew was capable of taking care of a baby. Someone who was in a stable, committed relationship and has tried to conceive. I had an ideal pregnancy and I would love to bless someone else with a child of their OWN by using my "oven". Never thought about it for a stranger, but have considered it for a family friend.

Only for my sister. It might not be my baby I was carrying, but I'd hella want to make sure the baby got the best. I know and love my sister enough to do that for her. But she can and has carried a healthy child to term, so I'll never have to deal with that issue.

That would be a hard decision to make. If it was someone very close to me who just couldn't carry a baby, I would do it. It would be extremely hard to carry someone else's baby and then give it up, but I would do it. I'd never do it for a stranger or for money, though.

I would if one of my family members couldn't have children!! I wouldn't do it for total strangers, but I would do it for a family member!! Because then, I could see the baby & get to know him/her!! I would also be able to help out a family member and that would make me feel good!!
