Totally against for all ages. This is not to say I have not experienced the TRAUMA of abortion. It causes soo much heartbreak and I believe it is murder. Life has begun once a woman or girl is pregnant. God intended that life to be formed. I used to be pro-choice but I do not label myself either way. I'm pro God's plan and pro stop killing sweet innocent babies. Raising a child without having a plan is not as bad as you might think. MAKE A PLAN and be prayerful. There are SO MANY places to go for help. Even places to go LIVE until your baby is born and you both leave there, or one of you (the Mom) leaves and a family is blessed with a new baby to adopt. Have a heart, or two for Heavens sake.

Well, they can have it WITH parental permission right now, so I'm assuming that you're asking whether we think that they should be able to get it without parental notification and/or consent. Am I correct?

I think that it's better to not keep secrets from your parents.

But I also think that having kids when you're young and not ready for them is a bad idea, and that it should not be forced on someone who's not emotionally prepared for this experience.

So, in the balance, I feel that a girl should be able to make this decision on her own, IF she cannot get permission from her parents, but that she really should at least try to establish an open line of communication with her parents and be able to talk about sexual matters, birth control, and abortion without having them go all ballistic on her.

And I think that the worst trend in the world is when high schoolers who have babies and decide to keep them (and--face it--there is as much social/peer pressure nowadays for girls to keep their babies as there was in my generation for girls to adopt them out) and then bring them to school to show them off to their friends. The next thing you know, a whole bunch of girls envy her and want a cute little baby, too. The only problem with that is that babies are not just something cute to show off: They are a lifelong responsibility, and a lifelong loss of freedom. I feel that that sort of responsibility and loss of freedom is something that should be very seriously considered and should only be undertaken by someone who has a realistic idea around what that entails.

Bottom line: Abort, adopt out, or keep--it should be her choice, and she should be fully aware of the pros and cons of EACH choice before she's pressured/forced into any of them.

I was raped a month shy of my 17th birthday. I was afraid I was pregnant and had decided to not abort my child. I got my period 3 weeks late and very heavy, I'm sure it was a miscarriage but no way to be sure. I don't believe in abortion under ANY circumstances. Don't murder an innocent life when you can just give that child to a family that can't have children of their own!

It is very important to see things as they are. An abortion kills a human being, the baby in the womb. It is not the choice of the mother ot decide if her baby is to live or die. If she cannot take care of it, the baby can be adopted. Thats why I am against .

I don't think that teenagers under that age should be having sex at all, let alone becoming a parent...I say that it is primarily up to them, but I would urge them to get an abortion very soon in the first trimester

Except in extenuating circumstances such as rape and a threat to the person's life, abortion is wrong!!!!! Abortion is not a form of contraceptive. That's is why they made condoms and birth control so people would not have to take innocent lives due to their thoughtless mistakes. Abortion is wrong at any age.

Getting an abortion is a superbly ok thank you to "face the implications of her movements". i think of young infants have each and every suited to decide for like this approximately their reproductive possibilities while not having their determine's permission. i'm uncertain if I agree that her college became the surprising place for her to coach to, yet truly, is that a lot diverse than her turning to planned Parenthood and getting an abortion without her persons understanding? no longer truly. i do no longer see the massive deal here. i might decide for to comprehend how this tale went public. Abortion is wrong for anyone no matter what the age. So many people say its the right for a woman to choose what to do to her own body, but that is not true. Woman do not have the right to use illegal drugs, be a prostitute, or even commit suicide. Yet society says its OK to murder and unborn child. God gives life and only God should be allowed to take it.
