i just checked and mine aren't dilated. however apparently they do dilate, but not just when aroused. it's whenever something interesting comes along.

The human pupil dilates if the person sees something (or someone) of interest or is aroused. Studies have shown that humans (especially females) are judged as more attractive if their pupils are wide open and more dilated than normal.

yes they do, its similar to the 'fight or flight' response when we're stressed. they dialate because of a rush of adrenaline. its so that we are able to take in information quicker.

also there have been studies that have shown people find others more attractive when that other persons pupils are dialated so it could also have something to do with trying to attract others.

Your pupils are fixed holes, meaning, they do not change sizes. Their purpose is still to allow light to enter. However your iris (colored pigment of the eye) DOES change sizes, in it's response to different light intensities. Whether or not they respond when you're horny...I'm not sure.

i guess the actual question is...do we truly pick to "wrestle" our adversaries and adversities? The outward lashing of violence (combating) is a habit meaning there is a few information lacking in our selves. If we are extremely conscious, then our ameliorations develop into in many cases occurring for the way and what they're. we ought to operate from a position of records, compassion, and inclusion. there is not any actual pick for violence if we function from a position of inner potential, and shame on us for being bullies if we income this. In that way, we would properly be pleased about the interest-beginning they convey about. i does no longer bypass as far as to experience indebtedness...yet per chance gratitude for the "lesson" is sufficient. there is not any longer some thing hypocritical about that in besides. Namaste ~ advantages!

when youre pupils dilate, youre letting more light (and therefore more info) in. so its not really being horny that makes them dilate, its the stimulation of the pleasure centers of the brain. youre eyes are literally gathering more pleasant stimuli for your mind to knaw on.
think of being on the drug MDMA... youre releasing alot of seratonin (the happy chemical) Have you ever seen someones pupils when there on that stuff.. ? haha

Our pupils get bigger when there is not a lot of light around so they need to have a bigger surface area to search. they get smaller when there is enough light around and they do not need to search. Horny, i don't think this has anything to do with it

My theory is that we like what we are seeing and want to see more of it! It may have to do with human mating frequently occuring in the dark. It may be an adaptation to allow us to see who is who, and what is what.
