I have to say I am a victim of this. I tend to walk around and act like I know more then my parents, mainly because I feel I am born in a different time then they are, with the vast information technology that is at my fingers that wasn't so much as popular back in my parents days. Kids today just have that cocky touch about them but even I have to say I like to learn from my mistakes because I know I'm hard headed and I will only believe it more if I actually go thru it because sometimes just hearing from someone else isn't enough because you never know if its true or just hear say. Bottom line, we like to learn from our own mistakes, gives us a sense of our own personal knowledge.
