Everyone says how unethical steroids are and how it puts a black eye on baseball but, look at it this way: if your a minor leaguer coming through the system and you grew up in a poor setting and you had a chance to make it to the big leagues and earn millions by using steroids or HGH or stay in the minors making 50K and possibly never make it to the bigs by staying clean WOULD YOU DO IT?

If you were working on a bank and you knew the combination of the safe and knew that no one will suspect of you taking some money, would you do it? It would be stealing even if they don't catch you. It is thesame with steroids. It gives you an unfair advantage. Corked bats, doctored balls and even spit balls are not allowed as they hamper the integrity of the game. If you want to be a ball player you must love the game, compete taking your abilities to the max, the game is larger than us not the other way around. Steroids are bad your health and for the game, this ain't wrestling buddy, play fair or stay out.

steroids can have negative affects, years down the road. look at Lyle Alzado. He died young because of steroids. . so I feel money isn't everything. and ethically, I disagree with cheating. so no I would not use 'roids.

If you stay clean you could be the next McGwire or Pujols, if you don't you could be the next barry bonds...Hmm... let me think...
I say NO to steroids, say NO to drugs, say NO to smoking, say NO to alcohol. Stay clean kids and stay in school, until you graduate at least.

A real sportsman wouldn’t do it. Sadly, many of them do.
However, if there were other reasons, like “I need money to get medicine”, it’s ok. I mean, if no the sport is number 1 in his/her life, why not taking advantage of science?

No.it still wouldnt be worth it.It ruins your repuation and it is bad for your health and those things would be more imprtant to me than making it to the big leagues.

I wouldn't because i respect the game too much, but then that isn't saying much, i am on the outside looking in and not being tempted with it at all.
