Cut down on acidic intake (ie. Carbonated drinks, citrus products, pork products) Suck on antacid tablets like Tums and Rolaids - yeah gross I know but it works.... DO NOT use dairy products while curing them. Only builds up more mucus and keeps the acids in your mouth not to mention can give you an upset tummy. It may even be stress related so try and RELAXXXXXXXXXXXX

OK!!!!! Now for a bit of grandma's cures. I know all you YOUNG folks will think it's too old fashioned but try a half teaspoon of Arm & Hammer Baking soda and apply it directly on the ulcer and let it set ther for about three or four minutes. Then rinse. No it doesn't hurt, is PERFECTLY safe, and besides, it will help clean up your breath at the same time. Repeat twice a day for two ro three days and the ulcers will be history (and so will your bad breath).

I had them for almost 10 years. My current doctor asked me to start taking Folic acid pills and now I dont see them orruring anymore. Some one recommended me to apply glycerine or butter over it, but its a temporary solution

You know what helped me when I was getting these is to be sure and brush your gums every morning and night. Once I started doing that, I've rarely had them since.
