Forgive my ignorance....but what is the relationship between these two countries all the way? Are people in North Korea allowed to visit or move to China? Is it the export/import business or what? I have not read up on this relationship. Why is it that North Korea pretty much against everyone - why do they like China so much?

China has nothing to fear NK. They will take over NK when Kim is finally gone. The capitalistic business men in China have been quietly buying up and building factors all over NK as the cost of labor is a fraction of what it is now in China. And yes there is huge export commerce from NK to CI, the only thing coming in are materials to manufacture and raw materials. Should be very interesting in the 5-10 years with this situation

Yes, and so would Russia. Russia and China are associated with North Korea and not with South Korea. Bearing in mind Russian and American troops are fighting together in Afghanistan I don't see why they would need to fight each other they would just have to talk it out. Also, America provides jobs for Chinese people and jobs and Britain and America have a strong bond with China. If China did start a war with America over North Korea and South Korea fighting each other, Britain would back America. So the REAL question is "Would Britain and America defeat China and North Korea in a war?"

The history is a bit complicated. They are close allies, to a point. North Koreans can not simply go in to China though. Trade is big between the two. But Russia is more an ally to North Korea than China is. While North Koreans and Russian are fearful of the US they are weary of China and it's rapid growth.

They are both communist countries. China will eventually crush them. North Korea will eventually begin to have a negative impact on Chinas economy with this missle thing. But as of now there has been a one hand washes the other policy amongst them.

China exports more things to N. Korea than any other country, but there is no free movement of peoples between the two countries. Both countries are communist ruled and have very strict laws governing every aspect of their lives.

Well they dont really have a close relationship that you think, but they both are currently controlled by a communist goverment. Since both are communist they do have some political/economic ties. And they dont trade with each other because in command economy(communist) the goverment has control of everything.

Both are major communists countries, now, remaining in the world. And so they are allies, with a common intention of expanding their regime in other parts of the world. If your enemy is also my enemy, naturally we will be friends. The same is the case with these two, both hate imperialism (read USA).
