i got my belly peiced about a year ago and then i took it out for a couple weeks and now i want it back in but the top part is closed and i dont know if i should shove a ring through or get it repeirced.

You can actually go to a reputable piercer and have it tapered open. A taper is a pointed metal piece that is almost like a piercing needle, except it doesnt puncture the skin, it helps ease it back open. (pic at the link below.) Basically, a piercer will take a lubricated taper and insert it into the open end of the hole. They will then ease it through to the other open end. Once the taper has stretched through the piercing, they will then place the jewlery at the end of the taper and push the jewlery in as the taper slides out.

If the hole has closed too far, they wont be able to taper it and you will have to wait until the scar tissue heals over and softens before you can have it repierced.

Ouch!

Please get it done by a pro. You can be prone to infection if not and that would lead you to take it out again. All that pain for nothing!

I would either get it repierced or ask a piercer but most of the time they are probably going to tell you to get it repierced.

you might want to do it again. If you just push the ring through it then you might damage your bellybutton or something.

Get it re-pierced. You don't want to risk an infection.

well it is according to how long it has been grown up and how much skin is grown back so if it is alot then u should get it repierced!!!!
