never surfed. never wanted to.
I grew up in the Yukon. I'm suspicious of large bodies of water that aren't frozen. ;-)

My boyfriend surfs, so I tried a few times with him, and took some lessons on my own. It is tough, determinining when to stand up on the board and where to stand up. It can even be difficult paddling out. Good surfers make it look really easy. I've only stood up once. But I really had fun and will hopefully try again soon!

I never tried surfing, but one of my friends told me when you try surfing for the first time its easier if you have a long board. I think it is a little like snowboarding.

Tried it once in Puerto Escondito. A session of barely controlled drowning. (the break we were on is know for 30 ft waves on season, it was, luckily, off season)
Get a lesson, at least you'll have someone to hold the board for you. Try to find someone with an old long-board to give you the lesson on, its easier. If you have any issues with swimming, don't do it. It's a sport only for strong swimmers.

it is fun, but a little harder than it looks
seeing your so so hot
you can get the guys to teach you starting on the sand and then working to the water and then up on a board with a guy at first, then all by yourself.
if I was a girl and looked half as beautiful as you, I would get the guy teachers to teach me, it is a blast once you learn how...
so go do it

Tried in Newquay... Cornwall, England...
Didn't have much time really... managed to stand up... and fall a few times... just as i was getting used to it, course over...
i didn't bother buying a board because it's not something i'd dounless the water is warm... here in the u.k.. that is almost never...
No I bought a Snow Board... and i'm good at it... dude!

I've never had huevos grande enough to try the longboard...but I've done quite a bit of bodyboarding (mostly on Hawaii's North Shore)...it's quite a rush! Especially when you catch a nice one way out and ride it all the way in to the shore!

Maybe when I was your age, but not now. I'm afraid I'd drown. But seeing a beautiful pair of yong ladies like yourselves on surfboards, would be quite a sight! No, I don't mean anything perverted.

I have tried! Its fun...but dont think you'll be a pro your first time...its not as easy as it looks...but it is waaaaaaaaaaaay fun! I also live in Florida so here you gotta at least try once! its fun!
