why do girls always get in a strop when a joke is made about them but then they cant tell you to your face that they didnt like what you said they have to ***** about you behind your back yet males are supposed to be the immature sex

You are not making the proper distinction between immaturity and insecurity. A girl does not want to lose face when an unkind comment is made but she feels angry and wishes to vent her frustration by sharing the incident with her friends.
The reason the girl does not tell you she is hurt is because she has already suffered by you making a comment, it seems obvious to her that if she reveals her vulnerability, it will happen again. Males do a similar 'covering up' exercise when someone makes a hurtful comment but they don't tend to talk about it because they are socialised to keep their vulnerability and emotions to themselves, even amongst people of their own sex.

girls are more sensitive than guys, if you make a joke about a girl you have to be ready for the consequences, we have hormones to deal with that you guys couldn't possibly handle, you assume that just because we bleed for one week a month, you think that all the hormones come out with the blood, and its not true, we deal with hormones everyday, and a joke that cause a girl to go off in a strop is bad, don't do it

Clearly you are the more immature sex if you make jokes about a girl when she obviously doesn't find it funny. Maybe she doesn't want to tell you how she feels about it because she's scared of being made fun of again.

we just dont want to get hurt anymore and we think the best way to get back at them is to gossip about them behind their back. I personally dont agree with the way girls do that. I always admit that i didnt like something they said to their face because everything can get worse when its lost in gossip.

Because we girls are sensitive and it hurts to get made fun of even when it's a joke,and we want to seek revenge behind your backs because we don't want to hurt u as u hurt us!And I don't think males are imature I think girls mature sooner then guys and guys act imature longer and they have better sence of humars!

That's why most of my friends are males....lol..I feel your pain. Girls like drama, that's the conclusion that I've come up with anyway....drama, drama, drama, oh yeah...and I almost forgot, its always gotta be all about them and their always right...
