You need an energy transformer machine. You put sound in, press the sound-to-electricity button and out comes electricity. Make sure you have a storage cell attached or you'll get shocked.

To be honest, this looks like you're trying to get us to do your homework... different devices will convert energy between different forms, for example a tungsten flament light bulb converts electrical energy into heat; the wire is then so hot it glows, giving off EM radiation (light). A microphone takes sound energy (movement of air) and converts it to electrical energy, as the moving air moves a magnet, which alters the electrical current induced in a wire.
Happy now?

If you throw a mud ball at a wall, the ball has kinetic energy initially. When the ball hits the wall, the molecules in the wall knock into the molecules in the wall, and make them vibrate a bit more, this extra vibration in the molecules of the wall causes the internal energy of the wall to increase, so kinetic energy has been converted to heat energy- internal energy in the wall. The ball colliding with the wall also squashes air molecules out from next to the wall so that a wave of high pressure is sent through the air, this is heard as sound, so kinetic energy is converted to sound.

heat , sound and light themselves are forms of energy the devices have a mechanism to convert energy from one form to another -
for example
solar panels - use sunlight to heat up water that in turn is used to generate a magnetic field that in turn is converted to electricity!!!
I hope this helps!!

It's difficult to understand what you are staying but examples of forms of energy changing would be:
matchstick struck: sound> light > heat
solar panels: electricity> heat> light> sound
The Sun: light> heat> electricity> sound

there are only 2 types of energy strictly speaking. these are kinetic (movement) and potential. heat and sound are examples of kinetic and for example placing an object on a shelf is it gaining potential (assuming you have had to lift it up). so instead lets look at converting potential into kinetic. this can happen by dropping an object. by doing so it loses gravitational potential energy and gains kinetic energy. when it hits the ground this kinetic energy is still kinetic but given out in the form of sound waves etc. as for gaining potential on a small level I'm not sure exactly but i would liken it to lifting an object up (using kinetic energy) and it consequently gaining potential energy.i appologise for the confusing nature of my argument and i hope this helps in some small way

Electricity is converted to both heat and light in an incandescent bulb and to sound in a loud speaker. Light is converted to electricity in a solar panel, sound to electricity in a microphone, and heat to electricity in a thermocouple. Light is converted to sound in a fiberoptic cable network, to measureable heat by focusing it's energy. Heat to light in an incandescent bulb.

Of course "Energy Froms" are used in Replicators and Matter Transporters. It is your basic case of detecting and counteracting quantum-level patterns to reconfigure the transporters to create pertutual stasis loops before reintergrating the physical patterns stored within a holographic matrix with their original quantum energy signatures.

Would be nice if your question was clever enough to be clear. Doesn't make sense to me. What device/devices?
