The US and the Allies struggled for 4-5 years with Nazi "freedom fighters" (LOL) in W. Germany. The Russians on the otherhand eliminated the problem in a matter of months. Shall we give them a call to find out what the secret was?

why not put the press out of the country pull off the kid gloves and do what Patton did in Germany in WW2 .line up a column of tanks and level Baghdad

I can't say I'm a great admirer of the Soviet Union and their work. Aside from the atrocities committed on German civilians- rape, torture, murder, etc., at the end of WWII-
didn't splitting Germany into two and forming the Eastern Bloc countries help trigger the Cold War?
Yeah, maybe they helped us get rid of the Nazis. But didn't they have to slap up a couple walls with barbed wire and armed guards- to keep people IN the countries they were controlling after that? And it took them what, another 41 years to take the walls down?
I'm thinking that they weren't real strong on that foresight thing, so we might want to hold off on placing that call.

nope we don't work that way. the secret was simple- kill,torture, and disappear anybody that you even think as anything to do with it along with their friends and families.
