...or just wash properly!

2006-06-22 02:01:09 · answer #1 · answered by Anonymous · 1 1

no cure unfortunatly - u jus have 2 let them run their course!

A blackhead is a blocked pore that has been exposed 2 air, a whitehead is a blocked pore that has been covered by skin cells

Dont pick ur spots - tempting, but wrong!

however u can help them along:

1.Wash ur face morning & night - sweep upwards from the base of ur neck.u have a covering of downy hair & u need 2 lift this 2 reach the skin
2.Use a weekly facemask - try a deep cleansing mask as this will reach deep in2 the pores & bring up dirt. However, this will cause u 2 break out til ur skin becomes used 2 it, but its worth it believe me!
3.Exfoliate 1-2 times a week - this will remove dead skin cells that can block pores
4.Use an oil-free, non clogging moisturiser
5.See the doc for tratment - they can provide u wiv evrything from lotion 2 pills
6.Remember, ur skin wont get better overnight!U have 2 give a product 6mnths plus 2 work, if u dont see ne improvement, change

i use:

Clean&Clear sensitive cleanser, cream wash & quick clear wash
Superdrugs own sensitive deep cleansing face mask
Aapri facial scrub
Baby lotion

good luck!

. Steaming your face is basically the best way to clear your pores. Light up a pot of water until it reaches it's boiling point, lower the flame to a low intensity, yet enough to keep the water boiling. Grab a towel place it over your head and place your head above the boiling pot. Do this for ten minutes, at the minimal twice a week to keep your face clear of clogged pores.

DONT DO THIS, The dirt that comes out just goes STRAIGHT back in again! Go to the doctors, and if its really bad ask for roaccutane tablets =)

Acne is basically oil built up on the surface of your skin, notice that this isn't something that just happens to people who tend badly to their skin, no, it happens to everybody during one course of their life or another. The best ways I have found to overcome acne is:

1. Wash your face on a daily basis, only TWICE throughout the day, once the moment you wake up and once the moment before you go to sleep.
2. It is clinically proven, that the best way to keep acne away is to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Always eat healthy and keep a balance.
3. Do not over-do the make-up thing, people wear cover up to hide their blemishes but the more you add to it, the more dirt and grim it collects to add onto your acne.
5. Avoid touching your face with your hands, your hands collect oil throughout the day and it also secretes it's own oils, so don't touch that pimple with your fingers, it'll just add to it.
6. Avoid using multiple cleaning solutions, just stick to one, it'll heal over time.
7. Don't pop your pimples, it'll leave scars.
8. Don't over stress yourself, acne doesn't heal over night, but care for it correctly and it'll eventually fade away.

And lastly if your acne is really acting up, I'd really recommend seeing a dermatologist, they can do wonders!

Hope this helps!

Try sudocrem, wash your face with an unperfumed soap, try not to touch your face too much, I know this sounds daft but your hands can't be clean all of the time eg whilst eating, don't pick them as you will cause scars.

I used have really bad spots and was not too keen to take the pill for it, I purchased a roc dermabrasion kit and used it for about a week and after about 3 years of bloody spots they went.

I have tried just about everything apart from surgery, I even put acid on my face!!!

Proactiv is the best product on the face of the Earth. Plus, you can try it first, if you don't like it they have a money back guarantee. I have been using it for two years. I have never had better skin.
I use it once daily and my skin looks great. Also, drink loads of water and wash your hands and telephone and stuff to avoid getting excess dirt on your face.
