As a former dancer and choreographer, I know to this to be true: You wear your tights under your leotard. Always. If you wear tights over your leotard, then you have funny lines on your *** and legs, and some of your movements are constricted.

Tights underneath leotard looks best even though it is uncomfortable.
It depends on whether or not you are in a performance.

I prefer tights UNDER leotard, especially pink tights. But check out the link below... there has been some mayor discussions on this topic!

If you are wearing a dance belt, which would mean you are a guy, you shouldn't be wearing a leotard. Just wear the dance belt underneath your tights and a t-shirt or tank. if you want a tighter top check out underarmour heat wave, they're kind of like rash guards that wrestlers wear and they keep you well ventilated so that when it's hot you'll stay cool and when it's cool you'll stay warm.

It is tights on first, then, leotard, and then the dance belt.

Fun question.
For men, dance belt, then leotard/t-shirt then tights.
Thats usual for man.
You may want a belt under the tights to keep them up.
Your dance school will tell you what they require.
