Côte d'Ivoire for sure they played against one of the best team,Argentina and they also scored.Whereas Ghana played against Czechs which is no better team compared to Argentina.I think you find the difference.

The best african team in the world cup would definitely be Ghana, with a Ivory Coast at second.

CIV has been unlucky, closed by Holland (one of best team) & Argentina (the most impressive team by now). Has won the last match, but was already out of the competition. Angola has struggle with Iran, hasn't played well. Togo is definitevely out.
So, the best african team could be only Tunisia or Ghana.
Tunisia has the last chance in a near-impossibile must-win match against Ukraine. Only Ghana (really impressive against Czech) has real chance to get the round of 16. I think they will win against USA and advance in the tournament.

Probably Ghana, because they dominated the Czech Republic 2-0, whereas almost all the other African teams have been beaten or merely tied their opponents.
