i just got my nose pierced and that took a LONG time to convince my p arents to let me get it done. now i want my eyebrow pierced and i dont know how to get my parents to say yes..everytime i ask my mom she says flat out no. but i really want it so how can i get her to say yes?

Wait, let them get used to the nose ring first. Then, don't expect them to say yes. My suggestion is to wait until you're 18 and then pay for it yourself.

Wait until you move out of the house...then you can do whatever you want. But don't make it such a big deal, try to compromise with your parents. Tell them you'll go to a respected professional and then you won't get or think about any more piercings in a year or so.

P.S. Don't get a tongue piercing. Tongue piercings are very harmful as they hurt the teeth when you talk and can lead to painful infections in the tongue.

Just be patient with your parents. It is hard for most parents to let their children grow up all at once. I have known many people who have gotten things pierced and then realized that it wasn't the best thing to do in the long run. Just a little note, most employers don't hire people who have piercings. Maybe your parents are right on this one.

why do you want to embarrass your parents. think about how they feel. they gave you permission to pierce your nose so you could fit in with other kids. having too many piercing may make you an outcast. they are trying to help you. they want to give you everything, be nice to them and listen. they have a hard job. now ask your mother if you can help with some house work. give them a little appreciation.
